If you read my About Me, you’ll know that I’m currently a Pre-Sales leader at VMware. Next week, VMware is hosting its biggest annual customer event, VMworld.
I’ve been to numerous VMworlds over the years but, this year, VMworld will be a very different experience for both me and our customers. Due to COVID-19, VMworld, like so many other conferences and events has become a virtual instead of in person event. While there is always great content to take in during the event, for me, the best thing about VMworld has always been the opportunity to personally connect with both colleagues and customers from around the globe. I will miss that greatly this year. It’s genuinely difficult to recreate those personal connections in an online format.
That said, there are still loads of great sessions at VMworld this year and the great news is that anyone can register! This year is another VMworld first for me, I’m doing my first VMworld session – it’s all about taking ownership of your career development.
I had the pleasure of working with my colleague Amy Lewis on the session and, while we would have loved for it to be in person, we think we’ve put together a session you’ll enjoy. It will be available on-demand – Join us!
Lights, Camera, Action!
As a first time session presenter, I’ve also learned a great deal about the amount of effort that each and every speaker puts into creating great content for this event. There is a herculean effort that goes on behind the scenes to create, present, and record content.
So with that in mind, I wanted to call out some specific sessions worth your time, sessions from folks I know personally who have put a tremendous amount of effort into putting this together.
